I haven't played along in quite some time, but have decided that I need to start again... I love those crazy fun women over at I Heart Faces! This week's challenge is "white"... below is a picture of Amanda... not only is she beautiful and a sweet friend, but she is also my daughter's amazing gymnastics coach. She recently married this past June and was the most stunning bride ever! Enjoy!

Let me introduce you to the beautiful and HAPPY "T" family! They are so much fun! Full of love for one another, laughter and joy. I had the best time with them on this winter day. Brother and sisters, mom and dad, husband and kids, and the girlfriend... soon to be fiance and permanent addition to the family. ;)

...exciting is just one thing that describes the path that Madi Danielle is on. She is absolutely one of the most positive, amazingly talented, young teens out there. She just released her first single "I Believe in You." Give this new young talent just a little time and you will be seeing her face all over the place! That's a promise!

I had the pleasure of doing her head shots and then a super great evening having dinner with her family... who just happen to be great friends of ours. I would like to say that they drove all the way down from Nashville just to have me do her head shots, but I think they may have spent some time visiting family while they were down on the coast too. Either way, we had a blast!

This is my daughter Peyton with Madi. They have been great friends since about age 6. :)

Life is... Precious

One of my favorite things to photograph is without a doubt pregnancy. I love everything about it... getting to share in the most intimate details of one of the most exciting moments in a woman's life, helping her to see just how beautiful and precious this time is, getting to be a part of the very beginning of a new life story... ahhhhh... so wonderful! This session was all of those things and more. Mrs. "F" is expecting her third precious little one. Not only is she a beautiful mom and loving wife, but I also discovered that she is an amazing artist as well... I noticed a painting or two around the house and *ahem* sort of hinted that I would LOVE to own one of them, *snort* ;)

I am so honored to have been asked to capture this special time for this growing family. Many blessings to you and your new little one!

creepy crawly things

Just in time for Halloween... look what was in my backyard waiting to greet me this morning. It is a golden silk orb-weaver, or as many of us down here on the coast call it... a banana spider. This one was about the size of my hand, ACK! I must admit, he/she is rather pretty for a spider. BUT... it is still a spider all the same. *shiver*

I. am. so. excited!

It's here. It's from my mind. It's beautiful... and I owe it all to the AMAZING Rita over at Coffee Shop Designs! I have used her actions for several years now and I just realized about a week ago that she also helps design blogs. SHE. DESIGNS. BLOGS!! How did I miss this little golden nugget of info?

Well let me tell ya... not only are her actions totally amazing, but she has some awesome blog designing skills up her sleeve as well. She made the entire process quick and painless. I am completely HTML ignorant. I'm lucky to even get my pictures up on my blog *snort*. But Rita took this HTML ignorant photog and worked some bloggy magic with me. Her work is beautiful, easy to understand and affordable. Take a moment, check her out and go be amazed! :)
